Datuk Dr. Mohd. Fowzi Hj. Razi
Chairman
Dr. Mohd. Fowzi, 55, was appointed as Group Managing Director for SURIA on 29 April 2009. Currently, he holds several directorships such as in Sabah Development Bank, Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) Sdn Bhd and a few other private companies. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, the Malaysian Institute of Management and a Fellow of CPA, Australia and the Chartered Institute of Management, United Kingdom.
Dr. Mohd. Fowzi, a malaysian, graduated with a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Adelaide, Australia. He obtained his masters degrees, Master of Business Administration and Master of Science (Finance) from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom.
Dr. Mohd. Fowzi started his career in the Sabah State Civil Service as an accountant in 1979 and was subsequently appointed the State Treasurer in 1994 and in 1996, the Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Finance. He had also served in several other key appointments such as the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director of Sabah Bank Berhad, CEO/ED of Sabah Development Bank Bhd, CEO of Innoprise Corporation Sdn. Bhd. and General Manager of Ko-Nelayan. His las appointment in the State civil service which took effect from 1 August 2006 is as the Director of the Economic Planning Unit, Sabah. On 29 April 2009, he was seconded from the civil service to his current position as the Group Managing Director for SURIA for a contractual period of two(2) years. He holds 40,000 shares in SURIA and has no family relationship with any Director and/or major shareholder nor any conflict of interest with SURIA.
Hj. Zohari Bin Mahur
Director
A Malaysian aged 43, was appointed as S.P.Satria Logistics Sdn Bhd Director in July 2006. Presently, he is the Managing Director of SMS Kg. Likas (Sabah) Sdn Bhd and Executive Chairman of ARZ Resources Sdn Bhd since 1996.
He graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from COE College, Iowa, USA in 1986. He further his education in Master in Business Administration majoring in International Trade at Loredo State University, Texas, USA in 1987.
From 1981 to 1988, he worked as Sabah State Government officer. He was a Bank Officer with Maybank from 1988 to 1989. He was with Sabah Gas Industries from 1990 to 1991 as an Assistant Manager. From 1991 to 1994, he held the post as Marketing/Public Relations Manager at Telekom Malaysia, Sabah. Later, he joined Celcom, Sabah as the Head of Marketing from 1994 to 1996.
Ahmad Zamri Bin Said
Director
A Malaysian aged 45, was appointed as S.P.Satria Logistics Sdn Bhd Director in July 2006. Presently, he is a consultant for ARZ-SMS Group of Companies (AGSM).
He graduated with Bachelor of Science majoring in Electrical, Science and System Engineering (Communication) from Southern Illinois University, USA in 1985.
He was the Chief Operating Officer of Faber Medi-Serve Sdn Bhd (FMS) from May 2003 until September 2005 and was responsible for managing the operation of the five hospital support services provision at 73 facilities in Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Sabah and Sarawak. Previously, he was the Senior General Manager (Operation) of FMS. He was appointed as a member of Healthtronic Sdn Bhd Board of Directors from January 2004 to September 2005. He joined FMS in year 1997 as Manager, Sarah Zone at the commencement of the five hospital support services privatization project. A year before joining FMS, he served as a consultant for preparation to ensure FMS readiness to take over the hospital support services privatization project from the Government on 1st January 1997. Prior to joining FMS, he started his career in 1985 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kota Kinabalu as Biomedical Engineer and subsequently as the Head of the Engineering Department for 11 years. He is qualified Bio-Medical Engineering trainer and was trained at National Health Services (NHS), UK in year 1990. He is also a member of The Institute of Healthcare engineer and Estate management (IHEEM), UK.
Shaiful Hj. Batong
Executive Director
A Malaysian Aged 38, was appointed as S.P.Satria Logistics Sdn Bhd Executive Director in July 2006. Presently, he is also a Manager (Technical Service) in S.P.Satria Sdn Bhd since September 2004.
He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Master in Business Administration from Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia.
Prior to joining S.P.Satria Sdn Bhd, he was a Mechanical Engineer with Sabah Ports Authority from 1993 until August 2004. While with Sabah Ports Authority, he had served as the Secretary to Board for Tender and Finance Committee from 1995 to 2004.
Loh Boon Hon
Director
A Malaysian aged 45, was appointed as S.P.Satria Logistics Sdn Bhd Director in July 2006. Presently, he is also S.P. Satria Sdn Bhd Executive Director since July 2004.
With over 20 years of experience in heavy industrial equipment business mainly in mining, construction and ports industries, he has played a major role in securing the rights of agency of well-established port equipment manufacturers such as Gottwald of Germany and Kalmar of Finland for S.P. Satria Sdn Bhd.
